Photographs: A single photograph that you provide by using your camera or selecting from your library.
Skin Type & Goals: Your self-selected skin type and tanning goals to personalize your routines.
Device Identifier: We assign a unique, anonymous device identifier to your installation of the App to save your profile and data without requiring a traditional user account.

Data Collected Automatically:

Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the App, such as features used and session duration.
Location Data: With your explicit permission, we access your device's location solely to retrieve the current UV index for your area. We do not store your location history.

Financial Data:

Payment Data: All subscription and purchase information is handled securely by the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To create and manage your anonymous user profile.
To provide personalized tanning routines and safety recommendations based on your skin type, goals, and local UV index.
To display your chosen photograph as your profile picture, visible only to you.
To process and manage your subscriptions.
To monitor and analyze usage to improve the App's performance and user experience.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. Collection and Use of Photographs (Face Data)

This section provides specific details about how we handle the photograph you provide.

Purpose of Collection: The photograph is used for two purposes only:

To assist with Skin Type Selection: The photo is displayed back to you during onboarding to help you visually confirm your skin tone. The App does not perform any automated analysis, facial recognition, or feature extraction on the photo.
As a Profile Picture: The photo is set as your profile picture within the App, which is visible only to you.

Storage and Security: Your photograph is securely uploaded and stored in our private Supabase storage. Access is strictly controlled by security rules that ensure only you, authenticated by your unique device ID, can access your photo.

Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your photograph with any third-party services for analysis, advertising, or any other purpose.

Data Retention and Deletion: Your photograph is retained as long as your profile is active. You can delete your photo at any time by using the "Reset App Data" feature in the settings, which permanently deletes your entire profile and photo from our systems.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following situations:

With Service Providers: We use Supabase as our backend service provider for database and storage hosting. All data is secured and subject to the strict access controls described in this policy.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Your Choices and Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access and Update: You can access and update your profile information (like your goals) within the App's settings.
Location Permissions: You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
Data Deletion: You can delete your entire profile and all associated data, including your photograph, by using the "Reset App Data" feature in the App.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy in the App and on our website.
